Commercial Vehicle Insurance

Commercial Vehicle Insurance: If you're in the contracting business, then there's little doubt that you have at least one commercial vehicle. Whether it's a minivan or a full blown fleet of trucks you're going to need commercial vehicle / auto insurance.

There are several different types of auto insurance coverages to consider when looking / purchasing commercial vehicle insurance,

1st - Liability - (covers the other motorist's vehicle if you hit them)

2nd - Collision and Comprehensive (covers your vehicle if someone hits you),

3rd - Medical payments (known as personal injury protection in some states)(obvious),

4th -Coverage for Uninsured Motorists (covers your vehicle if you're hit by an uninsured motorist)

All of the above are important to have, but not all are legally required. Make sure to consult with your insurance broker before deciding to not get coverage for anyone of the above mentioned policies.

Remember to always consult your insurance broker when buying commercial vehicle / auto insurance and an attorney if you're involved in any kind of car accident that also results in a car accident claim or personal injury claim.
